But I've always just been obsessed with female friendships, may have been able to tell during the course of our conversation, have been obsessed with female friendships in the media industry, again, may have been able to tell during this conversation, but also have

In terms of just female friendship, I mean, I think that my female friends and, you know, Robert knows this as well, but my female friendships are honestly some of the most important relationships in my life.

I've had a couple of friendship breakups over the course of my life and they've hurt more than romantic ones, far more.

And they just, excuse my French, but they fuck you up far more for a much longer time a lot of times.

And I think that there's something...

so fascinating about that and so intense about that and that's intoxicating.

So when I was like writing this, I wanted that level of intensity to be authentic and true.

And for me, I've just always been so interested in that and delving into that and have always wanted to explore that love because that's what it is.

Like my female friends, I just love them more than anything and they love me.

And I think that

Anytime that we can talk about that and that kind of love is a good thing.

And I just wanted to have a book where it's like they all love each other, but also they can hurt each other more than anyone else.

And it's another one of those taste things.

I'm like, if I'm fascinated by it, if I'm interested in it, if this takes up a lot of my brain space, I think that other people would love this too.
