kind of in the mold of Janet Yellen, the current chair, in terms of monetary policy.
He seems to not favor necessarily the kind of aggressive normalization of monetary policy that a lot of people think should be taking place, like some of the other candidates who were suggested for the Fed chair.
And I'm wondering why, if he is that close to the prevailing orthodoxy of the Fed over the last four or five years, why not just replace Janet Yellen?
Obviously, there's concern here, not only obviously because of the allegations may be true, but obviously the political implications could be quite significant if they were to lose the seat.
As it stands now, we're a few weeks away from polling day.
