And I think maybe he knows that and it bears it out that they feel he's doing the right thing.
They want to change the system.

There's a wider context as well, though, and there's a piece in one of the papers this morning which talks about Jim O'Connor's other plans, which are, he's a wider plan for reducing legal costs in other areas.
And Stuart Gilhooly is quoted as saying, look, the approach to this was wrong, needs to be more collaborative, but he's not stopping at legal aid.
And so there's another battle to come.
But the question, I suppose, from Financien, is he using this as the springboard to be on the public side?

And what they're saying is the European Union rules are saying, no, we can't do an excise cut.
But they're saying that's not what we want.
