When Michael Cheka was first made Leinster coach, none of us had ever heard of him.
I'm sorry, very few of us had heard of him.
Joe Schmidt had been mentioned to me by Eason to save an interview as he called him Mr. Rugby and he learnt, the man he learnt more of than anybody else.

Joe Schmidt came on board and I think it might even have been a factor in alerting Mick Dawson and others in the Leinster hierarchy that they might even have had a word with Easton to say when he would have recommended Joe.
