The survey of the Jewish people in Britain came back with some pretty astounding results.
45% of British Jews...
fear that they may not have a long-term future here.
These are pretty shocking figures.
When we looked at the British public, what that found was that 45% of the British public hold at least one anti-Semitic view.
That doesn't mean that 45% of the British public are anti-Semites.
What it means is that they have learned or picked up an anti-Semitic stereotype.
I've already said how we went out to everybody.
Once we sat down to analyse the results, we checked that the results that had come in
accurately reflected the geographic distribution of Jewish people all over the UK.
The answers that we got through are very much representative of Jewish feeling.

I don't think you can really say that looking at the data because the data has a wide variety of opinions expressed.
So 74% of respondents disagreed with all but two of the anti-Semitic statements.
Two of those anti-Semitic statements could have been Jews chase money more than other British people and Jews talk too much about the Holocaust in order to get sympathy.
I wouldn't be particularly happy that 25% of the people still agreed with that.
I don't think there's a positive spin that one can put on a quarter of British people agreeing with statements like that.
