Trotsky is at the heart of everything.
He runs the Petrograd Soviet, which is one of the key engines of the revolution.
He chairs the Military Revolutionary Committee in Petrograd.
He orchestrates the men, the militias, who are going to attack and seize the Winter Palace.
So he's really at the heart of it.
And Trotsky being Trotsky, he makes sure that everyone knows he's at the heart of it.
And while he's doing that, what a great opportunity to put Stalin down and say, where the hell were you?
You weren't doing anything.
And this becomes a sort of story of the revolution is that Trotsky does everything and Stalin does nothing.
It's totally unfair, actually.
I I mean, I'm not one to defend Stalin for many things, but Stalin was actually in Petrograd.
He was writing for Pravda, he was producing all the propaganda that was to be so important for the success of the revolution.
So he was there.
Of course he was there at the heart of things.
But Trotsky this opportunity
Yes, this is the the naval rebellion or mutiny in Kronstadt, uh, where there are thousands of of sailors who are sick of not having of being deprived of a voice, of not being paid.
They're really angry and they gather uh as a demonstration.
And Trotsky goes out and he confronts them head on.
