Ah, because Trotsky was pretty much the only person who could contest uh what Stalin was saying and could um write a very, very different narrative of actually what had taken place.
Um Trotsky was there from the very beginning.
He knew everyone involved uh in in what had taken place during the revolution, after Lenin's death, how Stalin had dealt with his enemies.
From that point of view, he is extremely
dangerous to Stalin.
Stalin, remember, always wanted to control the narrative of how he came to power, of how he became ruler of the Soviet Union.
