I do not enjoy that hill but that was better than I expected so I'm very happy with Second Lady. There's loads of Rygate Priory runners today and in fact in the half we took one, two and three so we're very pleased with our efforts. Lots of different abilities and probably some here that came from our Couch to 5K programme and Some running in the 5k and some of our speedy young juniors.

It is lovely, although it was less lovely when one of the juniors I used to coach not long ago went breezing past me at mile 11. But nice, really.

It's really nice for me because lots of people here know you and they know my weird name, so you really notice when people are shouting for you. So I always hold my form a bit better when I hit my thing. Oh, I always run better when people are watching. I know it shouldn't make any difference, but you grin and bear it, don't you? Yeah.
