My dad was driving the Frames gear up and down Ireland every day.
Loaded the gear into the van, would bring it to the venue.
So we'd all arrive and all the gear would be there.
My dad would have brought it in and left it on the stage for us to set up.
And then he'd come after the show, pick it all up and bring it home.
So like my dad was one of these guys that showed his love shoulder to shoulder.
He wasn't a face to face guy.
He didn't sit down and tell you he loved you.
He just got in there and mucked in beside you.
And so that hit me as like, ah, he absolutely loved us.
He absolutely was there for us.
Oh, for sure.
Yeah, yeah.
My dad was an old school.
I mean, my parents were that generation, and I'm sure there's a lot of people out there who'll recognize this.
They were that generation that fell for the drinking and the smoking and the bad diet.
And, you know, we grew up on frozen pancakes, Findus frozen pancakes and, you know, all of that stuff.
And my parents, unfortunately, went to, my dad was a big drinker, big smoker, and I killed him in the end.
I killed him at 62.
My mom went at 72, bless her.
