I'm I'm doing that dispassionately.

At the time in the race, when they were swapping positions basically every lap at Monza and it was keeping Max Verstappen on their tail, I was loving that.

And I uh as a fan at the time, I was gutted when they came on the radio and said, No, we're gonna build a gap to Max, fall into line and you can race again later.

Makes total sense from their perspective.

But when you're watching it and you've

You've got this action and you're thinking the whole time, like, if something just goes wrong here, if like they let Max back from he I think there was a while where he was one point five behind and then he'd get back to naught point nine and he'd get overtake mode again, and you're thinking like we're we're on the cusp of a a three way battle here and Max getting to cause an upset, which would have been brilliant.

So as an observer, you watch that and you think, No, like let them keep fighting.

So in that sense I was very disappointed that they were proved right that once they stopped fighting, they could actually drive away from Max and and he wasn't a factor.

Yeah, I I wanted to mention this actually.

Obviously one of the things that came out of all this debate is, you know, does Lewis want Ferrari to get behind his championship fight, so to speak, and and

Whenever you end up with a pair of closely matched teammates at the front, the questions come in.

We get them from our audience.

We get them from the race members club.

Should Team X prioritise driver A over driver B?

And in the case of Ferrari and Lewis, I get that mathematically there might just be a a a very slight uh championship chance, but

To pick up on what you said there, Ed, I don't think the Ferrari's competitive enough that even if Ferrari threw all of its weight behind Lewis, I don't think they would have enough weekends where they have the best cars, where he could win enough races to get back into this fight.

So I I don't think this is a situation of they need to get behind him and keep him in the championship hunt as long as possible.

I don't think he's in the championship hunt.

His his car isn't good enough.
