Of a lo a long period of mismanagement and confused thinking.

It does at least feel like there's a bit of focus there.

Ed, I know you in particular, you weren't impressed with the decision to back away from being a works team.

I think actually if you're mismanaging a lot of your areas, taking away one of those things that you can mismanage was a sensible idea.

So they've got the best engine.

They've ended up with the best engine in the back of the car, and then you focus on doing all the other bits right, and you would say that that team out of its endstone base has proven that given the right sort of support and a bit of stability, it can do that.

And it will it I think it was the the Renault side of the operation, the engine side of the operation that brought a bit more chaos there.

Kind of be almost left alone, scale up, that's gonna take time.

Then I think they've got half a chance, but I do just think that gap for anyone to bridge, whoever can get to fifth place, you could sit there consistently for three or four years, and as long as one of the big four doesn't completely mess it up, I think it's a huge ask.

McLaren did a great job to make themselves part of that, but they already had a lot of instrument infrastructure in place.

They were just doing a really bad job with what they had.

Yeah, I think we can say the trajectory's right for Alpine, which is good.

But I remember one of the things Flavio did say recently was, Well, we were tenth last year and we're sixth at the moment, so that's a big leap.
