Of course, the Iranians are entitled to have enriched uranium.

There's this invention, this treaty that was signed called the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty in the 70s,

which was a response to the concern that every country was going to start to proliferate and acquire nuclear weapons, which is an extremely unsafe world.

And everybody was incentivized to create a framework where you would limit the number of states that had nuclear weapons.

And the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty was the convention, the global convention that was created to do that.

And every country except for India, Pakistan, South Sudan and Israel was

are signatories to the deal.

And the Iranians are signatories.

And one of the things that it says was a condition for people signing was that the idea is that you can't get nuclear weapons, but nothing is ever going to infringe your right to use nuclear energy.

So you can enrich uranium.

You can use enriched uranium for nuclear energy.

Even if you're an oil-rich country, you may want to use nuclear energy because the more nuclear energy you use, the less oil you use, which means the more you can sell and generate revenue for your people and for your country.

And so the Iranians have the same right of enriched uranium as every other country in the world.

And the Iran deal was so perfect from the American perspective because the Iranians agreed to things that no other country in the world agreed to, which is

We're going to accept limits on our enriched uranium of 3.67%, which is the maximum you need for energy.

And in order to give you the confidence that we're abiding by that, we're going to allow very invasive inspections and surveillance regimes to look at everything that we're doing inside our enrichment facilities that you know we're not enriching toward a nuclear weapon.

And have that protocol just remained in place.

None of this would have ever happened, but Miriam Adelson and

Netanyahu and the whole crew got Trump to nullify that, to withdraw from it in 2017.

And now we're right back to an agreement that this time doesn't even provide those safeguards, that just has the Iranians promising them they won't get nuclear weapons.
