That's judges kind of going a little bit rogue.
I'm not mad at them because usually it's the prosecutors who are the ones asking for the release.
So this issue has never bubbled up.

But what I can tell everybody is the judge may very well look at Pam Bondi's motion and say, come on, Pam, you know that I don't even have the authority under the rules to release grand jury materials.
So what does that hand to Donald Trump?
The argument, oh my gosh, do you see what the judge just did?
I wanted the stuff released.
And the judge said, no, that judge must be a radical left-wing lunatic.
Right.
This is the game he's playing.
But let's take it a next step.
The judge orders the release in his or her inherent power over the grand jury.
And people should know the grand jury is really an arm of the court.
It's not an arm of the prosecution, even though people will say we can indict a ham sandwich.
I always said, well, yeah, if a ham sandwich committed a crime, I could probably indict it.
But we really if we're doing our job as a prosecutor, we're not abusing the grand jury system.
So the the the if the judge orders the release and that now where does it go?
It goes right into Pam Bondi's hot little hands.
