shooting practice whatever they might be and now he's got the bit between his teeth through and long may it continue for Ireland but for himself because he's deserved it because he's had a few loans in England which probably didn't quite work out he got a big name big price tag that he had to go and fill and he's done that now like I said he's stepping out of hopefully Robbie's shadow and now making his own chapter because he's a proper threat and a proper goal scorer which now we need at this time
Yeah, it's tough because unless you're extra special, the likes of like a Harry Kane or a Wade Rooney, when they come on, they boast on the scene.
I think it's more difficult for a striker because you need to hit the ground running and score goals ultimately because that's what you're proven on.
And
Troy went out only thinking back I remember watching Troy at Preston but he played off the left he played off the right he probably now he didn't have a manager that could see what he could do down the middle and that's where Troy needs to be he needs to be in between the goal he can run in behind he can come short he can score all types of goals
where it's probably taken him a move to go and be his own man.
Probably go out to Holland where probably no one really knew who he was when he first went out there to now being the biggest and brightest prospect in Holland.
So for himself,
he works tremendously hard he plays a lot of games he scores a lot of goals and ultimately for a striker that's the hardest thing to deal with so again long may it continue for Troy because for us for Ireland going forward to qualify for the World Cup to qualify for the European Championships we need Troy we need Evan we need people scoring goals and that's what he brings I suppose there's been a couple of injury
Yeah, no, listen, I'll play with Dizzy.
Dizzy's a great fella.
He's one of the best who'll come around.
obviously stepped back from Ireland when I was playing for family reasons and probably wasn't getting enough game time for himself.
Listen, what he's done for Barnsley over the last 12 months with the goals that he's done has been unbelievable.
Do I think it would have been a step too far?
Possibly, yes.
I think it's a big level up from
League One to play in, playoff, international football.
And for me, if Didsey comes onto the pitch for Ireland, Ireland's chasing the game.
It's the only way I can see Didsey coming on.
