Oh, it's Jorge Soler and Reynaldo Lopez.
And, oh, my God, how?
We never – baseball brawls, I would say, what percent of the time?
Nine out of ten times the quote-unquote brawl is the dugout's empty and maybe max there's a little bit of pushing and shoving getting in each other's faces.
Rarely do you see full-on punches thrown, not to mention baseball in hand punches that actually land, which Reynaldo Lopez did to Jorge Soler.
This is the epitome.
of Joe Kelly's vision of why baseball isn't boring was the Angels versus the Braves in the first real brawl of 26.
The crazy thing is people forget, like, this is the World Series MVP of the last Atlanta Braves World Series champion.
Like, I'm trying to think.
We...
We do the Red Sox show.
I can't imagine Manny Ramirez fighting the Red Sox.
Imagine Mike Lowell fighting the Red Sox.
Or David Ortiz or Steve Pearce fighting the Red Sox.
Question.
I am.
Fight.
yeah i i will openly advocate for it i have a question for you guys uh i know you guys are both a little bit more hockey guys than i am i had a college roommate that was super into hockey and i always i used to ask why do they let the hockey players fight and he would tell me it's okay you just tell me the answer i'll tell you if it matches what he said because the sport pleases itself um
Yes and no.
He said it's safer to let them fight with their fists than to let them play out and they would probably do dirty crap on the ice in the game, which is way more dangerous than fighting.
