Joe Ryan specifically would have been a very, very hot name for a lot of teams, and we just didn't really hear those discussions go anywhere.
And then they fired Derek Falvey.
We had a whole conversation on Bib Notes a couple of weeks ago about –
just that I think Zach Littell to the, to the twins could be a good fit as a potential sign them one year deal, flip them at the deadline.
You know, we need arms to get us to the midway point and we can reevaluate where we're at at that point.
Trade the guy, get something back, maybe pay down some of the money,
I think it's a good fit.
It's not a fit that's going to be like, okay, Zach Littell is the missing piece to a championship team, but maybe some team trades for him at the deadline and is upset that they didn't sign Lucas Giolito before the season, but they get Zach Littell and he gets him to the postseason and maybe hands it off to their top three or four starters from there.
All right.
Next up on the list is the one reliever that, or sorry, no, we got two relievers on this list.
The one lefty reliever that we've got on this list.
Danny Coulombe, who had an awesome start to the season with the Twins before his season kind of took a turn for the worst when he got traded to the Rangers, but still seen as one of the better left-handed relievers on the market from the jump this offseason.
I saw him as a guy who could get, I don't know, a $6 or $7, $8 million deal.
I don't think he's going to get that anymore.
Not at this stage.
Now these guys are fighting for NRIs or they're fighting to, to get major league deals and not take NRIs.
And Danny Kula might be in the territory now where you take one and, and have to fight for your spot.
I think he'd earn it, but yeah,
A guy coming off the couple of seasons that he's had weirdly got non-tendered by the Orioles two seasons ago off another good season.
Teams just don't believe in guys that throw low 90s.
