If you were going to sign – if you were the league and you're picking suspensions and you had – and this isn't how they do it, but if you had 10 total games, screw it.
Blame pie.
We're going to do blame pie for Jorge Soler and Reynaldo Lopez.
Who gets what in the blame pie?
Because the suspensions tell a story, but I'm curious where you guys would have put it if you were the league.
Well, I think they were both staring each other.
I would actually assign more blame to Soler because if you throw an up-and-in pitch, that happens all the time.
If you stare guys down, that happens all the time.
Who's the one who made the decision to start a fight, a brawl?
It was Soler.
But regardless, no matter which of our answers you go with,
They went seven games apiece and have since agreed to reduce Reynaldo Lopez's to five games, which in effect just pushes his next start back one day.
How's that fair?
I just feel like you got to, for a starting pitcher, if you're going to suspend a pitcher, you have to go nine games, which basically guarantees that you're going to skip the guy's start.
But correct me if I'm wrong here.
If you've got suspensions, you don't get that roster spot.
If you're the team, you have to then play down a roster spot.
I remember the Victor Roble suspension last year with the Mariners when he had the brawl in the minors and had a big suspension and the Mariners had to play down for a while.
If you're the Braves, your pitcher got suspended, you could send a position player down and call up a pitcher and play down a position player and be in the same position as the Angels.
I agree with that.
