I mean, other countries, it looks like, were not so keen on taking the risk of sheltering Americans.

And this Canadian diplomat and his higher-ups thought, no, no, we're going to do this.

Yeah.

And he actually spends a lot of time, doesn't he?

He's kind of trying to corral other diplomats in Tehran to complain about this and make more of a thing about it.

So he and the Canadian government go out on a bit of a limb to do this.

But of course, they do it secretly.

We should stress that.
