They would have had to sacrifice this tournament.
And there's no guarantees.
So they would have potentially had to travel, go on the road in the URC.
And we know the South African teams are fully focused on the URC.
So is it any easier to win the URC from their perspective?
I wouldn't say so.
I would never pass up the opportunity to win a tournament.
They lost to a better resource team that are flying in the top 14, more accustomed to the weather, much happier playing in that temperature.
I don't think we can underestimate how hard that must have been to play in that.
To me, this season is still a net positive.
So when you sit down with your squad, when you're a player and you're sitting there and the coach comes in and you try to sum up the season and you look for the

And you give the key messages and say what you expect from them.
And there's the physical stuff and everything like that.
