So the one where he steps back in twice.
Yeah, to be fair to Clarkson, you can see he's in the slow motion.
It was a bit like The Simpsons when I can see the exact moment his heart is breaking.
It's in slow motion.
You can just see as he's gone and he's been stepped and he's just like, his eyes have closed.
He's sliding on his knees and he's like, I've been done.
And what was just so stark for me is
So I was watching it, had some friends over, we were enjoying the spectacle of the game.
But when moments like that happen, I'm just like, just look at that.
And you just wonder why, why is he able to do that?
As in, what does his speed give him?
And literally, and this is going to sound like an idiot's guide to beating a player.
but his ability to move between point A and point B quicker than the defender.
So we're used to seeing the top end speed, which is the bit that he goes, but it's as valuable in close quarters.
So when he's able to move two yards quicker than,
move the distance of two yards quicker than the opposition, who is a yard behind them.
That is what creates soft shoulders.
And in his case, it's so pronounced that it's not a soft shoulder.
