In Australia, with Australian rugby, you go back, like, oh, I think it was the 2015 maybe when Bernard Foley, he was the, like, so they sacrificed a attacker at 10 for solidity at 10, which you're never winning a World Cup with Bernard Foley at 10, but he'll kick your goals.

So they haven't really had an established kicker in a long time.

And it doesn't seem to be one in that bunch either.

That's an absolutely valid point.

I think there's two sides to that as well.

The Irish defence.

So what did Australia do to Ireland?

They brought Ireland into the middle of the field or they brought them to the touchline and they condensed and the rucking was excellent.

They had good, strong ball carriers and they made Ireland put numbers into the breakdown and condense in around the ruck.

And then when they did that, they struck wide with a lot of tip-on passes or just, you know, nice little offloads.

You mentioned Ely, his one.

There's a couple from either Wilson or McWright.

They were doing that.

But once Ireland got into the locker at halftime, I saw some clips of Andy Farrell.

And you know, as a player, what he's talking, when he's talking about, he's effectively, you know, he's miming out spacing that you got wrong and he's pointing at people.

So we got our defensive spacing wrong.

And when Tygburn came on, that almost solved him.

He's kind of largely solved that immediately himself.

So the challenge that Australia had is they didn't have a bench that was able to continue to

stress Ireland and then the Irish defence got on top in the second half so actually that was great in the first half playing a game they were burnt out they'd blown the gasket at 60 minutes
