It's based on a screenplay about his own life in which, as I said, yes, an incredibly talented but neurotic film director has an affair.
with an actress.
This was made into a film in 2000 by Liv Ullman, who was one of Bergman's ex-partners.
But it's now a TV show.
It is on Now TV.
It's Thomas Alfredson, the guy who did Let the Right One In, and he also did Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
