Breakups are not created equal.
You could have really, really nasty, even traumatic breakups.
You know, those kind of few weeks, few months afterwards, I think how they go can depend a lot on how the relationship ended and how you feel about it ending.
Yeah, they do.
I mean that's kinda what dating is, isn't it?
It's it it is kind of presenting uh a a nice, palatable, appealing version of ourselves
I suppose my initial thoughts are, uh firstly, I totally understand that feeling.
Um, you know, when we come out of a relationship and it is over and we are moving on, there is that sense of of a new chapter.
Whether we want it or not, we're moving on.
There is a a kind of shedding of of something older or uh maybe a slightly older version of ourselves and we're moving into something new.
And with that, you know, no more than clearing out our house or decluttering a space.
Sometimes we just want
I know I've dyed my hair so many times over the years, probably linked to some breakups.
But I suppose my slight concern would be you can also be feeling quite vulnerable after a breakup, even if it ended reasonably okay.
I don't know, is that necessarily the best time to be maybe going after treatments that are a bit more permanent, you know, or a bit more invasive and are actually changing something.
quite significant.
It's it's not that I'm saying absolutely don't do it.
I think it's just to be kind of aware of the reasons why you're doing it.
When you're just out of a breakup, it can be hard to see the wood from the trees.
