Why do you have sex?
What does it bring to your life?
Because often we hear, oh, God, like, you know, it's...
If it gets to that point, you're feeling like, you know, it's a chore or it's something you should do or it's something you must do.
We've gone off track a bit because it shouldn't really.
Ideally, we don't want it to be like that.
So I'm always asking, why do you have sex?
Like, what does it bring?
What does it mean to you?
What does it bring to your life?
And that seems like a very simple question, but it's actually quite complex.
And you can spend a bit of time thinking, OK, well, makes me feel maybe good in myself.
It makes me feel connected to my partner.
It makes me feel feminine or excited or, you know, I'm not going to put words in people's mouth.
But if you can answer that, that's a really good starting point.
And you know what?
If you right now hear that question.
And you kind of think, I kind of do it because I kind of should.
It's OK to be that honest because you actually have to start from that honest place.
If you've slipped into that place where you're kind of just having sex, the word obligation comes up a lot in my work, where you kind of feel because you kind of, again, it's kind of the done thing, you should.
