I had realized that I'd moved away from that in my day-to-day, but not necessarily my activewear.
And then the bigger solutions that I was finding for my day-to-day, which were things like rental and pre-owned and amazing ethical brands, all of this, were either not really available in activewear for reasons like pre-owned and rental.
People aren't as keen on for activewear, obviously.
Yeah.
Um, they do exist, but like, you know, you probably, well, you'd probably like, that's the thing.
Like there are solutions for it, but it's probably not going to reach a mass market change level.
No.
And then also with the ethical brands, there were some brands that had done some really amazing things, but again, they were like, they were probably about 50% more price wise.
Um, and so,
I wanted to look into creating an option that was granted, like not about being small and artisanal.
It was kind of, can we do better at scale?
So like, can we have some baseline assumptions in terms of like what we are and aren't going to do in terms of fabrics, in terms of factories, in terms of dyeing processes, in terms of sampling, in terms of packaging, in terms of all of these different things.
Because I think people think of
um you know those types of things in terms of just materials whereas it's actually so much more behind the scenes like zero percent to landfill pledges not restocking during sales and therefore just you know trying to sell loads and loads of stuff at sale price like all of that and so we kind of i wanted to create an activewear brand that ticked those boxes but
And also was like, you wouldn't see a difference in terms of like fit.
Yeah.
And it wasn't 50% more expensive.
So it took a long time because that's quite hard.
And I think that, you know, there are a lot of ideals around what you would want from lots of brands you shop from.
I think realistically, a lot of the time they haven't been done for a reason because it's like not maintainable.
