One word I hate that people use all the time, kids are so resilient.
Stop excusing children's pain.
Stop it.
People are awkward to speak about grief.
It's one way of shoving away how my kids actually are.
I promise you, if kids are so resilient, we wouldn't need all the services that we need today for us because we weren't allowed to speak about things.

Push on, you know, when you give a child a space to talk about what is going on from, I promise you they will cry and scream and have ups and downs.
And that is not a bad thing.
It's what needs to happen.
I believe, you know, we've done everything from therapy to
a hammer to the wardrobe out the back and a curse path.
It was horrendous.
And whatever my kids were doing, I was just like, okay, I'd like to win.
My goals were just to get out of bed.
I remember feeling I'm never going to be able to get out of bed again.
My fear was, it was horrendous.
And I used to do things like, you know, my sisters would say, are you sure you're able?
I said, I need to do it now before I have my breakdown.
