I spent years in counselling, learning how to say hello, no, learning how to care, putting in my boundaries, not having certain people in my life.
When this happened, it just fell into place because I don't have energy for it.
Energy is so precious.

I've no other choice.
I have to be OK for my children.
And Irish people where we like to give out and say how our kids drive us mad.
I just say every day how amazing my kids are because they are so, from my core, amazing.
No BS.
I tell them what they're amazing at.
I don't make up lies and tell them they're great at art when they're not.
And we love a bit of dark humor.
They're awful.
They talk about, be careful now, ma'am might push you off the mountain like she did with that.
They're horrendous, you know.
There's a lot of people dealing with grief.
