Made a mistake.
I let people go before their time.
They were saying to me, I have four players, big players, they said to me, I've got an offer from somewhere else, I'm 31 or whatever.
And it's a chance for a three-year contract.
And what my attitude should have been, or what my answer should have been, I hear you.
You'll have to bear with me until I find you a replacement.
Instead of that, I fell out of them because I couldn't understand why you went to Liverpool.
So I said, get me to Fulham tomorrow, you can go the next day and finish the conversation there.
That was a mistake by me.
And then it's a bit like where Man United have been for the last couple of years.
You know, they're buying players under pressure.
Everyone who comes in has to be an instant hit.
And where Man United were for 20 years and where Liverpool were for 20 years prior to that, when they were top of the tree, or first or second generally, they could buy players, they could come into the group, have a good look at what's needed, what's expected of you, and then be introduced.
Think of Fabinho.
Think of Andy Robertson.
They didn't come... Oxlade-Chamberlain?
Oxley, well, of course, he got his injury with the Ox.
So, you know, that is the ideal scenario to be in.
Not buying players like the rest of them.
Man City have been in a great place for a few years as well with that.
