And again, we saw this with maybe JD Vance, who also struggles to convey like a winning personality, let's say, on the on Joe Rogan's podcast.
And some of his clips about the Epstein files in uh in the United States became a significant story in that he said, Look, we we did
release the message, but we screwed up the the the the the uh documents but we screwed up the comms and that then became became the story.
Well he managed to to cause not just a domestic incident where um it seemed like you know, we don't want the Prime Minister publicly lusting after Kylie Minogue, but then also an international incident in that he either made or abetted a very crude joke where worthy of Benny Hill um about uh the gift by Sarai uh Takaichi's the the Prime Minister of Japan presenting him with two melons, very fancy Japanese.

And the hand gestures.
So which I again, I think another funny thing about podcasts is their their video as well as as as audio.
And and so sometimes that doesn't work, but and in this case it really didn't work for Anthony Albanese.
And he just basically had to apologize both to Japan and to the Australian public.
And he disappeared from public life quite noticeably for at least a week or so.
Um because again the the effects of podcasts are
immediate.
Over the long run, people might remember some of these, but it's the immediate damage you do which uh which is hard to undo.

No, no, that was very good, I think.
So Ivan Cepeda was the inheritor of the mantle of the sort of populist left president who was term limited out, Gustavo Petro.
And he was running against de la Espriella, who was even more right wing than the usual right wing presidents, which preceded Petro.
So he has fairly strong ties to the paramilitaries in Colombia.
He is colourful to say the least.
