I think that was my parents' upbringing.

Never look into somebody else's thing and think you want it because, you know what, there are a lot of warts and bad things in everybody's life.

So don't trade what you've got for somebody else.

Everybody has some issue.

I've never discussed my relationships with any of my friends.

No, I never did.

I don't think it's anybody else's business.

I mean, really, if you have a problem, then talk to the one adult in the room that you trust and that's it.

And I really do believe this.

If you have serious issues, then you have to move on, no matter where you are in a relationship.

that you have to think about it from all aspects because you don't want to get tied down in something that's either a terrible relationship or abusive or whatever, just not on the same page.

It doesn't have to be abusive.

You could be really a nice person, but you don't have the same objectives or the same desires, and it's not going to work.
