Yeah, there's a lot of incentive for them to productize it.
I think probably what they have to do is they have to make it much more efficient to run, which having a ton of TPUs available will probably help them with that.
They're probably, I imagine that's what they're working on right now.
And then Google has a lot of ideas when it comes to product and a lot of cooks in the kitchen.
So who knows what form that'll take.
But I imagine it'll be something similar to the new Playables feature on YouTube.
Have you seen that?
I have.
Yeah, or you can generate video games directly on YouTube.
I imagine it'll be something like that.
where you know you can make like a 30 minute movie that you can play inside like a movie game like we need a term for this what is what do you call a movie game immersive video immersive video game i don't know yeah yeah i love that watching a movie and you know and it at like 32 minutes and it's like quick grab your controller no i think it'll be the entire movie zombie you walking around and like meeting people and talking to them yeah yeah
Yeah, and you made me write on.
Let's bring up this comment from CJW from Cal at 921.
And let's put this on the screen.
Knowing Demis, I recently watched The Thinking Game, which is the Google documentary about DeepMind and how they kind of formed and eventually solved AlphaFold.
And I really liked...
his thinking there he loves video games but he wants to solve intelligence so he's going to try and find a way to make whatever they build useful for real world product products and problems so uh cal said i could see the world building being useful for companies storyboarding outlining video games and movies for cheaper i think probably they'll also find a way to offer this to industry so that they can do
you know let's say like everything that we're using vr for now even better um you know you could do in simulation surgery that's like actually looks like reality you know instead of having to spend all this time creating these digital worlds it's like you can have the ai create the digital world for you that actually simulates reality and then you can focus on you know just making the surgery simulation actually accurate
yeah um things like that like or you know how to train self-driving cars we've seen this is like a huge use case for world models and video generation models so i think they'll probably try to productize it for industry and and perhaps also as a fun demo for people to play but you know there has to be like a financial incentive there so unless they're going to launch a new streaming service or a new tier of youtube they might not do that
We actually have a question in the chat.
