Like I I'll just h have an idea and it sounds right to me, let's do it.
And he's no, I'll put that in a spreadsheet and we'll work out how much capital we need and you know, how's it actually going to work.
You know, what's our addressable customer base and I don't know, between uh between us all, you know, we seem to make those things work.
Oh, I think so, big time.
Because I I sort of feel sorry for people who've got a business and they're a a one man owner because it it's really hard to be good at everything, right?
So
My theory's always been I'm I'm not that good at that much, probably quite good at the vision and, you know, sort of seeing the big opportunity and the plan and that sort of thing, but day to day running a business, n not so good.
So I think you need to people surrounding you like like a Steve or a Jeff who are good in their specialist areas.
Obviously Jeff's a very good marketer, Steve's very good beanie, you know, a and together you get, you know, much bigger than you would ever get on your own.
Yeah, I dunno I don't know what the reason is, but uh people c kinda cling on to things a bit tight, I think, because you know, if you bring other people in and you allow them to become partners and those sort of things, you know
you can have less.
So, you know, you'll have a smaller percentage, you get diluted.
But I always think my diluted percentage is gonna be much better than the percentage or the amount of money I would have if I kept it all to myself.
So it might be all mine, but it wouldn't be as big.
So I always think, you know, a a smaller piece of something big is better than a bigger piece of something small.
So the Monty was if something good happened, you know, we signed up a new customer or, you know, we got a good review in a magazine or something like that, we'd have a Monty, which was a straight shot of vodka.
And um
We didn't participate in those in the early days because we had our empower business at one end of the building and they'd blockaded themselves down the other end doing vodka stuff and they didn't like us at the at the business.
But gradually we sort of merged and we ended up we had a sh a shared PA and uh who's Jess and mine and my other partners PA and um she used to sit outside my office in the end.
So she called the Montes and she didn't mind a drink, you know.
