Whatever this saw cave that he's made here.

And so he can sense that.

And as he's talking to her, he knows like when they've turned it off, they've turned it back on, whatever.

And he's like, look, just hear me out.

I want you to hear me out.

And I won't tell Carl about any of this.

And he goes on to tell his backstory, a little bit of which we knew about him killing an NPC trap store owner in anger and how that has somewhat shaped him.

Like, he killed someone in anger because they're proud people, and he felt slighted by what is just a normal dickish tick of a lizard NPC.

And shape is putting it mildly.

It's redefined him.

And he's like, I've killed other people as well.

But me doing that, I got other crawlers killed.

And I just realized my actions out of anger.

This is not the person I want to be.
