I saw a number a couple weeks ago.
There were 77 pitchers in bullpens that average over 95 miles an hour with their velocity.
The Nationals had zero of them.
How is that possible?
They did not put – so they were supposed to lose like 99 to 104 games, right?
And they built the bullpen accordingly.
This was not a year where they were supposed to compete.
Well, nobody told their offense.
And they've got two young superstars in James Wood and C.J.
Abrams who are here.
They're one of two teams with the White Sox, by the way, who have three players with 20 or more home runs at the break.
They're number one in the National League and number two to the Yankees in home runs as a team.
So it's very White Sox-like, other than the fact that they have, basically they have like a 100-win offense and a 13-win bullpen.
And those two things combined make them a 500-team that probably won't make the playoffs.

That feels like a year ago.
He's been in the minor leagues for about four months, but there wasn't a time when Joey Weimer destroyed the Cubs opening day, and he actually had a hit in his first, what, nine plate appearances this year or something like that?
