Arturis had a side that was very funny, very personable, very dry.

He just didn't show it a lot and share it a lot.

I actually even told him one time, you should show that more to the public.

I knew Arturis a little bit from his Denver days.

I always found him funny and pleasant to talk to.

He just wasn't always very comfortable doing that in the public eye.

The reason I bring that up is I would start with that.

And I'm just getting to know just seems like a very comfortable communicator, very patient, thoughtful conveyor of where the Bulls stand.

And he's also very transparent.

He's not trying to doesn't sound like he's trying to pull the wool over the Bulls eyes, Bulls fans eyes.

My big takeaway from his early tenure is the day they move, they move up from nine to four in the draft lottery.

I remember he gathered and we were all around him at the hotel and he's like, hey, this does not solve everything.

It's obviously a fantastic outcome and a great piece, especially in a four on paper, a four player draft.

But we got a lot of work to do still.
