I think he's a great guy not only for the offense and what he adds as a player, but he's a great guy for the young backs, the young receivers, the young offensive linemen to be around and see.

A guy that's had sustained success for so long in this league and what that actually looks like.

That's a good question.

I don't know that there's one thing that necessarily jumps out because when you're in it day after day, it kind of just builds slowly over time.

I think that there's a different confidence when you go out there and you have a mastery of the system and you can go out there and snap the huddle and you're not thinking about the play and you're not thinking about which way do I line up that he's inched closer and closer to do.

Now he's been challenged to play multiple positions, as really all the wide receivers has, but he's really excelled at understanding his role.

and what he can add value to the offense.

And I think as he grew into the comfortability with how we're talking about defenses, how we're talking about routes, and understood the language, terminology, the way that receivers are communicating out there, that's really what's accelerated the growth and highlighted some of the plays that he's made, whether it's the pass game or the run game, you see phenomenal blocks out there as well.

Yeah, there's so much that goes into it.

And I think it starts with that mastery of the system and preparation process.

And you know, we have a bunch of different analogies that we talk about, whether it's whenever you first do anything, you're thinking about all the steps and processes that go into it.

And then once you've really got it down, whether it's driving a car or whether it's riding a bike, whatever analogy you want to use, you really don't think about all the steps.

That go into it, and we're trying to achieve that level of mastery, that level of playing free.

We know it's never gonna be automatic out there because the football, you know, the game is gray, where there's gonna be decisions made, there's gonna be different looks, there's gonna be different timing, but we wanna try to limit as much thinking as possible and really just let them process and play.

So I think it starts with the the mastery of the system, knowing what you're doing, and then over time with the experience of seeing all the different looks.

You see quarterbacks, especially guys who are playing well late in their career, it's hard to show them a d defense or a different look that they haven't seen before.

And it just accelerates their processing by that much because they have the ability to recall what they've seen, they recognize a pattern, and they make a quick decision.

That's a quarterback, but it's the same thing for running back, wide receiver, tight end.

That's an excellent question because it is extremely challenging.

So you probably noticed when we get plays that break down and we have the opportunity to work a scramble in a team setting or even a seven-on-seven setting that we were in here where there's no pass rush, we're still going to try to make that as much of a game rep as possible.
