What does that mean in terms of then what the provenance of the object seen might have been?
And what was the result of the attendance at the scene of these government people, these government agencies?
What were they looking for?
What were they trying to achieve?
And what did they conclude?
So that's it in a nutshell.
I know it was a pretty big nutshell, but that's it in a nutshell.
I've always been very honest and upfront with people about the difficulties of investigating and documenting a story like this.
or any story of course, any event, but particularly one like this which has so many people involved, so many protagonists.
And so it's a challenge as a researcher because memory
As Grant was just explaining, and as we all know, memory is fallible.
And when people remember things, they literally re-member.
They take the different members of the story, the different elements and parts, and put them back together again.
And every time we do it, I do it, everyone does it, we do it in a slightly different way.
And we do it not consciously, not deliberately.
It's just the way that human beings are.
And so I've always had that awareness.
And so for me, the importance of gathering as much witness testimony as possible from as many people as possible.
And as Grant was explaining, finding the common elements, not to ignore the elements that are discordant or the elements that are contradictory, because there are some.
And there will always be some, I think, with witness testimony.
