But where's the evidence for any of that?
And after all of my searching and after all of my collaboration with people who are more knowledgeable about these things than I am, people, for example, UFO researchers, long-standing UFO researchers in Australia, such as Bill Chalker and Keith Basterfield and John Orkutel and others,
None of us have been able to find a technology, an object, an aircraft, an airframe that matches what we're seeing at Westall.
It doesn't mean that it didn't exist.
It just means that we haven't found it yet.
And I keep looking for it and it's reasonable to keep looking for it.
But it's also, I think, reasonable for me to take seriously the testimony that's come to me from so many witnesses to be open to it being something else.
And that something else also doesn't have the evidence for it yet that's conclusive.
And so I keep looking for that as well.
It's not a very specific answer to your question, but it's sort of the way I frame
the answer, my answer to that sort of question.
Grant might have more information on the technological side of things as they existed at the time, but the refrain that we often hear from the witnesses is, and I can understand it, it's just so intriguing that if there was something that could fly in the way that these objects did in 1966 over suburban Melbourne,
Where are they now?
Where is that technology now and why aren't we seeing it more obviously?
Is it just that it's still hidden after all of these years?
Is it just that that technology has been honed even more over these past six decades and so is still being hidden and needs to be hidden?
Maybe, maybe not.
I agree 100% with what Grant has just said, and the exposure to sunlight is so important.
That's why doing podcast interviews like this is so important, because every time there is that little bit more of exposure to the public view, new information comes forward.
I'm very grateful that, for example, the YouTube video for the Australian Story episode that aired on the 60th anniversary airs
