Well, I adored Billy Wilder.

Loved his films.

I adored the man and I would have dinners with him.

I gave him a book party and a great art collector.

And yeah, I've seen every one of his films a half dozen times.

That's good advice.

Very good advice.

People of our age should bear this in mind.

um people actually were very well behaved and the movie stars were very anxious and i think a lot of them unless if you're a successful movie star the only people you get to meet in hollywood are people you've made movies with because you're all you're out you're not living and sleeping in your own bedroom most nights so i did a lot of introducing them to other movie stars and you know we we had very good security we had very few uh upsets but i remember the year that

Babe, one was up for Academy Award, you know, the one about the little pig.

And a man shows up, and he's got a dinner jacket on, and he's very well-dressed, and he's got this little pink pig on a leash.

And he said, can Babe come in?

And so we looked around and said, what do we know from him?

barnyard animals and so we we let the pig in and yes of course it was not really babe oh it wasn't the real babe is babe standing but i i don't even think it was a stand i think it was just he'd rented the pig but i thought really inventive and so i you know he deserved to get in 100 what was prince like

Prince, he's off in the corner sucking on a lollipop, but he was Prince.

You have no idea how excited people were to see him.

I have every idea.
