It was a thrill.

We've hosted six World Cup games so far.

We've got one left, so Miami's been a big part of this.

It's been fun.

Yeah, I'm very much a soccer guy.

I played soccer through college age, actually.

I must say that's much more impressive than it sounds because I was the backup goalie on a college club team.

So we had uniforms and we went to road games, but I hardly played.

And the only game I started, I lost six to one.

However, I love soccer.

I covered the Fort Lauderdale Strikers way back in the North American Soccer League days in the late 70s and early 80s.

So I go way back to the sports.

Oh, for sure.

Yeah, yeah.

Actually, England, Norway, and Miami was sort of an anomaly.

It was probably the whitest crowd I've ever seen at any sporting event

But earlier in the event, like Miami's first match was Uruguay, and we had Columbia play a match down here.

Columbia is insane.

We have like 150 or 15,000 Colombians living in South Florida.

So that was a crazy game.
