It's like we live in this sort of like social media influencer world.
That's the sort of going to be the defining moment of this time.
So we have to talk about it.
We have to like try our best to be aware, be skeptical and like figure out what's good and what's bad.
So another study I read found it was analyzing a thousand Instagram and TikTok posts.
So it was looking at a thousand TikTok Instagram posts about medical screening tests and found that overwhelmingly, uh,
there was an overwhelming amount of them that had misleading information, misleading medical information due to their financial incentives that were backing them.
So when you're looking at science influencers online, the thing that's so sketchy is the financial backing aspect of it.
And what I've noticed a lot of them do is that they sow this distrust in the medical institution.
They talk about big pharma.
They talk about like the medical kickbacks that you're the medicinal, the money kickbacks your doctors are getting from,
certain prescriptions that's mostly in america like we have a different health care system here in canada but they make you feel like the medical institution is all about due to its financial incentives wow it's like that is the only way an influencer could make money yeah like it's so shocking to me that they can like they're i feel like they're sowing this doubt on the same thing that you should doubt them for and it's almost like it's almost like when you're like someone's accusing you of cheating
And it's like, because they're cheating.
It's like, why do you keep talking about this big pharma financing when you're clearly getting paid by AG1 or whatever the fuck?
It can be compelling.
And maybe it's less easy.
Like it's like everything's about like the easiest way to get fit.
The easiest way to this or that.
It's like.
You need to be skeptical of us.
