We all know and have had those moments where somebody is kind of tacking the faith, whether it's Democrats or Republicans, in a way that feels very cynical and not embodied.
And I feel like that's that's the authentic kind of story that's going to speak to a lot of key voters who we're going to need.
And it only works if it's real.
It only works if it's authentic.
People can tell when it's not.
If you look at the candidates who have done the best, like sort of explosively, it's Bernie Sanders, it's Donald Trump.
And whatever you want to say about either of them, they present themselves authentically where they are.
One of the things I say about Trump is he lies all the time, but he's fundamentally honest.
Is he angry?
Is he envious?
Is he jealous?
Is he moved?
Wherever he is, we're seeing what it is that he is.
And I think that we have so much cynicism now.
I think it's legitimate cynicism about the sort of propped and painted focus grouped candidacy that the more that we can get people in authentic space and stories that are around that, the better it's going to be.
And I think that this is also something that can really move to advantage with Vice President Harris to get her out.
I think she does have a real genuine warmth to her and her engagement.
Hillary Clinton, as a candidate, was not my favorite candidate.
I had the pleasure of seeing her one time in a private setting in conversation with Warren Buffett.
She is an incandescently brilliant woman.
