There's power dynamics.
She's making decisions.
It accrues to policy positions.
And she came out and offered a real position of strength.
There was nothing in her tone that was backwards looking.
There was nothing that was grievance.
The lessons that she shared from her childhood were about grit and determination and doing hard work.
She talked about her prosecutorial record.
She called out Iran, which was really important, I think, and Hamas and Hezbollah.
She she I just thought that she she hit a lot of the marks.
And the fact that I always think about when people start to view the other side and polarization is like a monolith.
She can't be two things at once, which is what a lot of the the further right wing media is saying.
She can't be like a vapid, empty vessel and yet a massive conspiracy theorist who's plotting like an evil far left takeover at the same time.
That's just not a nuanced or responsible view yet.
She's a human being.
She's had taken positions in the past that I'm not a fan of.
You mentioned my skepticism about her initially, but we have to look at where people are moving and what they're saying and what is being represented on the stage and what battles are being fought and pitched in one around how the party will present itself.
And especially when those are met,
with positivity and optimism, then it can become a feedback loop.
People are dying to celebrate this country again.
