There's not enough capacity to put it onto the natural grid.

It has to be used locally.

So we give people free electricity on sunny afternoons.

Their consumption increases 400%.

I certainly know people who talk about doing Bitcoin mining.

deliver on it and i just got too excited in my book it is the new normal so um among our customers we've got nearly quarter of a million people who who've got an electric car and use a specific point but we've got another quarter of electric cars that don't do this but they're a quarter of a million who they're signing up to a program where they get exceptionally cheap electricity for their cars

But all they have to do is when they get high, well, first of all, when they get their car, they pair it with us.

So they use the Cars app to pair it with Octopus.

And that enables us to control when the car's charging.

They set some very basic preferences, like a typical default would be, I want 90% battery at 7 a.m.
