It was simply to maximize how much he can make.

I understand that George Pickens' salary will have to be north of what CeeDee Lamb makes.
Now, CeeDee Lamb is a number one receiver, and he was paid as such two years ago.
Now, having someone come in and be paid number one receiver kind of makes you the number two where you're making less than him.
I just don't see how that would work in general, no matter what anybody says, you know?
