So there will be a huge surge of trading toward the tail end of the day.

Some people say this could cause volatility in the markets or in shares of Tesla.

But as of Monday, if you own an S&P 500 index fund, you own Tesla.

This affects anyone who holds an S&P 500 index fund or an ETF or something like that, because as of Monday, they will basically be holding shares of Tesla in those index funds automatically because those funds on Friday likely will be buying shares of Tesla.

That's really because of the importance of the S&P 500 index.

There are so many ETFs that are benchmarked to that.

So that means that an S&P 500 index fund needs to buy shares of Tesla

in order to accurately track the benchmark.
