We live in a Christian country.
So Christianity rules supreme.
That's a fact of it.
But in my personal opinion,
okay?
My people come from a land where they've been turned over by what they thought was their own people, whether it be even Sikhs themselves or by Hindus, whether they've been raped and pillaged by Muslims for decades and decades.
I saw what I personally believe is that Britain gave a platform for Sikhs to be able to flourish, you know, per capita with the highest earners, per capita with the highest taxpayers, per capita with the highest property owners.
We never had that in India.
Well, we did a long time ago in the days of the Raj, but once all that
you know, was taken over.
Then we never had any of that before.
But the West has definitely given Sikh people a place to flourish.
We are not Islam.
We don't come here to say we want to control, we want to take over, we want to live side by side with our Christian brothers.
And that's what we have done for centuries.
And I believe anybody can see from our history what sort of example that is.
And that was happening from about the 70s to the 80s to the early 90s, if my mind serves me right.
I was only born in 82, so I'm going off what I've been taught in our good values and our communities.
It's been happening to Sikh girls for a hell of a long time.
And then you had organizations that shared a Punjab that literally took it into their own hands because the police refused to help.
