I didn't know.

But I thought I'll give this a go.

And then suddenly, fast forward a few weeks, there's people out the front of my house with Go The Fro signs.

You know, this thing ramped up so fast and people knew who I was.

And I couldn't even like go to Macca's anymore, like where I used to go after indoor cricket every time.

Yeah, 21, I think, while the show was on.

And then I turned 22 just before the grand final.

Wow.

Um, it was just a beautiful exchange of like, like,

Yeah, and it felt so grand and epic.

Like we rolled in on a stretch Porsche limousine and there's fireworks off the harbour bridge.

And then we're doing the grand final at Sydney Opera House and we were really nervous but we actually –

just before going on stage, Ed St.

John, he was like the head of BMG who was signing whoever was going to win.

He came to both me and Shannon and he's like, hey, boys, just wanting to let you know, we're actually, we're signing both of you regardless of what happens.

So me and Shannon, and we're still very close and we were really close then as well.

We just looked at each other like,
