Haley Cavinder

So we went to the University of Miami.

She played a lot more than me.

So it was like the first time of like me sitting on the bench, Haley playing more.

It was like very, very hard just as a competitor.

Sure, sure.

In general.

So I was like, I didn't want to take my fifth year because obviously got a fifth year for COVID.

And I was like, I'm not going to Haley.

And she was kind of done.

And we ended it at the universe.

We were in the March Madison tournament.

I was like very nervous.

at peace with like tying up the shoes and Haley didn't want to go back so at first we were we graduated and we had four years of college and I was like okay we're done let's finish the chapter together but then after like two months went by I was like I miss it like I need to go back like I need to take my fifth year like I don't know why I decided not to like I was just second guessing I was like telling my dad I'm like I miss the game like I need I need like

growing up and looking back i'm gonna like regret this decision yeah um and so i called my coach up and i was like i want to come back and she was of course coach meyer was like yes come back uh and so long story short i was gonna go to tcu because this one wasn't gonna come back with me and my family all is in texas too so they're in texas and florida so the only two places i'm staying is florida and texas she wanted me to move with her

So I gave her two.

I was like, OK, I'm going to go to TCU.

But long story short, then Miami was like, we want you guys both back.

So I was like, OK, I want to finish my career with Hannah by my side.

And then, yeah, finished it.

We went back.
