Hi, Rachel and Barrett.

My name is Haley, and I live in New York City.

I am an actor, singer, and dancer.

I moved here 10 years ago after I got my BFA in acting, and I have had a really great journey.

I've worked regionally, I've done a tour, I've done cruises, and I've been really blessed to work pretty consistently throughout all the 10 years.

That being said, I am heartbroken that I have not made my Broadway debut yet.

And it gets to the point sometimes where it,

knocks my soul down it dims my light for sure now after you know years of classes and hustling and advice and survival jobs to be able to take the classes and hustle and show up to all the auditions and have coaches and map out plans and just constantly work on bettering myself

plus 10 years of regional and work under my belt, I feel really capable.

Yet here in my own city, New York City, I can't break in.

And these casting directors and these people know me now.

I've definitely put in the work there.

And I think I have a good reputation that the feedback is never about lack of ability.

It's always things that I can't control.

A lot of times the feedback recently has been, just keep doing what you're doing.

Just keep going.

Just keep showing up.

It's just got to be the right fit.

You just got to keep going, keep going, keep going, keep doing you.

And to be really honest with you guys, I don't want to wait anymore.
