I think the way we're consuming our media is not encouraging us to do that.
You know, the outrage that that particular clip provoked in you may be well-founded.
But, you know, look at the polls.
Probably something like 25% of the population is willing to vote for One Nation at the moment.
You know, it's the time we're recording it.
Who knows where it'll be next month?
But a lot of Australians are finding appeal in the message of Pauline Hanson.
So what are you doing to think about those people and what you share with them to understand, I'm not saying to change your own views or your own values or your own principles.
But I, I think we do still need to look for ways to understand one another and listen to one another, you know, and like we've been hearing from people on the radio recently that, you know, are supporting some of those views that Pauline Hanson is talking about a lot.
And, you know, it's really interesting to me how outraged people are just to hear them said.
Um, but these are other Australians that vote, that pay taxes, you know, um, they have as much right to ring into a radio station as another person.
I guess for me, the function that I am interested in playing is making sure that if we're having those conversations, facts are inserted.
Because often these conversations are happening without facts.
It's just people saying, well, I don't like those people or I don't like their values.
Well, what are you talking about?
What are their values?
Well, you think immigration's too high?
